You didn't like Get Your Groove On? I thought the tone was happier, but that the cd was still solid.
I think I just expect too much from the name "The Wildhearts". In all reality, the biggest disappointment to me was probably the new Hanoi. I can see buying the new Wildhearts when it hits US shores, but the Hanoi? Why bother? But it just didn't work for me. But I would never argue with somebody who did love it. It's a strong release, but just not "Wildhearts" strong. Does that make sense? Or no?
BEST ALBUM - "dressed for Suckcess-the mistakes(okay it's old but I LOVE it)
BEST LIVE BAND - KILLINGBIRD!
BEST DRESSED GLAM ROCKER - Todd dresses nice when he goes out, or plays live...(big surprise, eh?)

BIGGEST SURPRISE OF 2003 - The Mistakes cd NOT coming out. Oh wait, that wasn't a surprise. lol

BEST ALBUM - Alice Cooper - The Eyes Of Alice Cooper
BEST LIVE BAND - Umm, I don't go to shows. I will be seeing The Brian Setzer Orchestra next month, so I will say that, as it will be the only show I see this year, and Brian just rocks.
BEST DRESSED GLAM ROCKER - Ummmm, tough one.
WORST ALBUM - Not the worst, but the most disappointing would be The Wildhearts. Does nothing for me. A reason for the band to reform needed better music that that. Yawn.
MOST DISAPPOINTING LIVE BAND - Again, I don't go to live shows. They keep people and crowds there. Sweaty people...yuck.
BIGGEST SURPRISE OF 2003 - Either Tigertailz, though since it isn't the full line-up, I am not too surprised. Or that The Wildhearts would release a full length CD of material only barely worthy of their B-Sides stuff.
BIGGEST DICKHEAD OF 2003 - Hmmmmmm, not sure.
THE DARKNESS - ROCK OR SUCK ? Still undecided. I should HATE them, but they get my foot tapping.
